Manuel B Harris

Manuel Boyd Harris, 80, born July 30, 1941, passed away on January 4, 2022 at his home in Lake, MS. He was the son of the late Chester Lee Harris and Lora Wicker Harris. There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Wolf Funeral Services Lake in Lake, MS. and Friday, January 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM graveside at Hopewell Baptist Cemetery with graveside service starting at 12:30 PM.

Manuel was a lifelong resident of Scott County and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and worked hard all his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Harris; parents, Chester and Lora Harris; sisters, Adelia Dolan and Kate Ritchie; brother, Clinton Harris. He is survived by his children, Kevin Harris of Pearl, MS and Mike Harris (Wendy) of Lake, MS., brother, Irvin “Frog” L. Harris; sister, Lois Harris McNeil; three grandchildren, Kaleb Harris (fiancé Morgan Malley), Ashley Gay (Cody), Mikayla Harris; one great grandchild Casey Gay; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
