Brad Harrison, age 26 a resident of Lake passed away on Sunday July 27, 2014 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Burial will follow in the Sharon Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS. Rev. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Boyles. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Brad was a lifelong resident of Lake, MS and a member of the Sandridge Baptist Church in Lake, MS. He was a 2007 graduate of Newton County Academy where he played football, baseball, and basketball. He was elected Mr. NCA and was voted Most Athletic. During his senior year he was selected an All-Star in baseball. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and ride 4-wheelers.
Brad is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Harrison and great grandfather, Rev. Charlie Hawthorne. He is survived by his wife, Mallory Vance Harrison of Lake, MS.; parents, Jessie Paul and Tonya Harrison of Lake, MS.; one son, Brady Harrison of Lake, MS.; one brother, Brandon Harrison of Lake, MS.; one sister, Brittany Harrison of Lake, MS.; paternal grandmother, Nell Harrison Thrash and husband Leon of Forest, MS.; maternal grandparents, Lindsey and Jimmie Shoemaker of Lake, MS.; maternal great grandmother, Annie Lee Hawthorne of Lake, MS.; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and three nieces.
Pallbearers will be Zack Edwards, Chase Nicholson, Justin Blackburn, Tom Miles, Brian Barton and Richie Boozer. Honorary pallbearers will be David Miller, Joe Miller, Daniel Clanton, Matt Parks, Ben Walker, Bubba Pace and Brian Alford.
