Rita Carol Harvey (Measells)

Carol Measells Harvey, 75, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 12:30PM until 1:50PM at Leesburg Baptist Church in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00PM. Interment will be at Leesburg Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Joseph Oster and Bro. Don Lum will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Carol was born on September 13, 1947, to Raymond Measells and Ruth Munn Measells. She was a lifelong resident of the Branch Community. Carol was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Leesburg Baptist Church. She loved cooking, gardening, working outside and loved to have pretty things around the house.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruth Measells. She is survived by her husband, Harris Harvey; step daughters, Melissa Harvey and Melanie Harvey, both of Jackson, MS; sister, Glenda Rasberry of Morton, MS; brothers, Colon Measells, Jimmy Measells and Mike Measells, all of Morton, MS as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Measells, Gaines Measells, Joey Champion, Chris Harvey, Chad Harvey, Cole Thompson, Jeff Champion.
