Mr. Glenn Edward Hayman, age 65, passed away on Friday October 4, 2019 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 5, 2019 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM and again on Sunday October 6, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 1:50PM at Bethel Baptist Church located at 3160 SCR 502 in Pulaski, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday October 6, 2019 at 2:00PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Boyles, Rev. Curtis Roland and Rev. Ben Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Born on June 7, 1954, Glenn was a lifelong resident of the Pulaski, MS area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Glenn was a cattle farmer and he surrendered to preach in 1973. He loved traveling to the Smokey Mountains with his wife, Betty. Glenn has pastored since 1981 and was serving at Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory, MS.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Betty Hayman; his mother, Willie Jewel Hayman; his children, Glenn (Heather) Hayman of Pulaski and Michelle Ivey of Pulaski; his sister, Beverly Lack of Georgia; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Ivey, Breanna Ivey, Makayla Hayman, Mason Hayman and Manning Hayman. Glenn is preceded in death by his grandparents, Troy and Nannie Lou Hayman and his father, William Edward Hayman.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ivey, Mason Hayman, Charles Ray Harrison, Jimmy Lack, Bennie Hutchinson and Randy Harrison. Albert Earl Harrison and Junior Harrell will be honorary pallbearers.
