Leon C Hayman

Leon Carrol Hayman, 85, passed away at his home in Raleigh, MS on Friday, March 19, 2021. Visitation will be on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Homewood Baptist Church in Homewood, MS. Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Homewood Baptist Church. Bro. Doyle Boyles will officiate. Although state requirements have ended, please wear a mask and maintain social distancing to continue helping control the spread of Covid-19.
Leon was born in Homewood, MS on May 24, 1935 to the late Curtis Leonard Hayman and Mildred Eilene Epting. He lived in the Homewood since 1971. Leon was an avid fisherman, loved camping, and was a deacon at Homewood Baptist Church.
Leon was preceded by parents Curtis Hayman and Mildred Hayman-Spivey and brother Robert Hayman. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hayman; children, Mark Hayman (Peggy) of Gallatin, TN, Brent Hayman, Lexington, KY, Scott Hayman (Kelly) Raleigh, MS, Mike Hayman (Roberta) Lebanon, TN; brothers, Howard Hayman (Diane), Morton, MS, Gary Hayman (Linda), Vanderbilt, MI. Leon had 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
