Mr. Wesley Junior Hicks, Jr. age 62, passed away Monday May 25, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2020 at Masonic Cemetery in Morton, MS with from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM with funeral service to follow. Pastor Ralph James will officiate.
Mr. Hicks was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS. He was a Baptist by faith and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He loved to fish and work in the yard. He enjoyed playing video games and he liked to cook. Most of all he loved his family and he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Hicks and Lonnie Mae Harper; sisters, Molly Macklin and Sara Hicks; brothers, John Wesley Hicks and Eddie McNair .Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife of 14 years, Beverly Hicks; his son, Wesley Maurice (Tamekia) Hicks of Pearl, MS.; step children, Kacinda Terry of CA., Latonya Terry of Morton, MS., James Terry of FL.; daughter in law, Lachar Donnay Montgomery, son in law, Jimmy McCallison; siblings, Beverly Serton (William) of Mendenhall, MS., Pauline Hicks of NY., J.W. Hicks of NY., and Tony Hicks of NY.
