Bobby Hodge, 76, a resident of Lorena, MS passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 9:00 until 9:45 am. Funeral services will be in the chapel on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 10:00 am with burial following in Lorena Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Tam Maddox. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hodge had lived in Lorena Community for the past ten years, moving from Oklahoma and he was a member of Lorena Baptist Church in Lorena, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ferman and Emma Hodge; his wife, Julie Hodge.
He is survived by one son, Toby Hodge and wife Christy of Burns, MS; one brother, Dennis Hodge and wife Lucille of Lorena, MS; one sister, Esther Pitts and husband Jack of Lowndesboro, AL; three grandchildren, Christopher Black and wife Nicole, Tyler Black, and Emma Hodge; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Jason Busby, Greg Hollingsworth, Timmy Batte, Frankie Batte, Roger Barnes, and Lance Walker.
