James C Hodges

James C. Hodges, 68, born August 10, 1953, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Visitation will be on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4:30 until 5:50 PM with service following at 6:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Bro Paul Smith will be officiating the service. There will be a private burial on Monday, February 14, 2022.

James was a lifelong resident of Scott County. He was Christian by faith. He loved restoring old vehicles and working on his tractor. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and served in the Military Police in California.

James is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Georgia Hodges and brother Keith Hodges. He is survived by his wife, Fredna Hodges of Forest, MS; his fur babies Miss Chievous, Smokey Jo and Mr. Sippy; two brothers Eddie Hodges (Toni) of Moss Point, MS, Tim Hodges (Pat) of Forest, MS; a number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers will be Owen Wolfe, Tyler Mahaffey, Mitchell Mahaffey, Kenny Hodges, Dr. Kevin Hodges and Damiean Donald.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association in memory of James Hodges.
