Willie Holifield

Willie J. “Shawty” Holifield, age 65, passed away on Sunday April 09, 2017 in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday April 14, 2017 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Greater Holy Hill COGIC in Morton, MS with burial following in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Elder Charles Jones. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Holifield was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS and was a member of the Greater Holy Hill COGIC. He loved to play his guitar and loved his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Katie Holifield. He is survived by his children, Tracy Holifield (Special Friend Angie Coley) of Morton, MS and Stacy Jones of Morton, MS; siblings, Andrew Holifield (Vuree) of Brandon, MS, Jimmy Holifield (Janie) of Forest, MS, and Geraldine Sturgis (James) of Durant, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends.
