Dale Hollingsworth

Mr. Dale Hollingsworth age 76, passed away Sunday June 28, 2020 at his residence in Lake, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS on Wednesday July 1, 2020 from 12:00PM until 2:50PM with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will be at Sharon Primitive Baptist Chruch in Lake, MS with Brother B.T. Strong to officiate.

Mr. Hollingsworth was a lifelong resident of Newton County, MS. He was a member of Sharon Primitive Baptist Church in Lake, MS. Mr. Hollingsworth enjoyed playing baseball when he was in school and he always loved hunting and fishing. He served as Deacon at Sharon Primitive Baptist Church. He was a hardworking man who provided for his family and loved spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by parents, Lathe Hollingsworth and Mildred Gibbs Hollingsworth; his son, Stephen Dale Hollingsworth; sister, Gweneth Monk; brothers, Paul and Billy Hollingsworth.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hollingsworth; his children, Leigh Hall (Bruce) of Lake, MS and Lesa Hollingsworth of Lake, MS; three sisters, Audrey Bout of Lake, MS, Patsy Harrell of Clifton, MS, Peggy Hawthorne of Lake, MS.

Pallbearers will be Lath Harrell, Michael Hollingsworth, Johnny Posey, Scott Bounds, Mark Bout and Jason Posey. Honorary Pallbearers are Chuck Hawthorne, Wayne Hall and Larry Harrell.
