Larka Holman, age 92, a resident of Morton, MS passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 10, 2015 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday September 11, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Parkway Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Ray Ingram and Rev Earl Clark. Wolf Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Holman had lived in Morton, MS since 1949 formerly living in Dierks, AR. She was a member of the Stem United Methodist Church in Stem, NC. She loved gardening, painting, reading and cooking.
Mrs. Holman is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Holman; daughter, Emily Holman; son, John Perry Holman. She is survived by her son, Preston Holman and wife Pam of Morton, MS; daughter, Lila Waters and husband Carelton of Morton, MS; six grandchildren, P.J. Holman and wife Amanda, Rebecca Hearn and husband Chris, Holly Gosnell and husband David, Savannah Lloyd and husband Cassidy, Chase Walters, Keith Waters; six great grandchildren, Jayce and Brae Holman, Alexis and Blair Hearn, Ethan Gosnell, Kylee Gosnell.
Pallbearers are P.J. Holman, Chris Hearn, David Gosnell, Carelton Waters, Cassidy Lloyd, Joe Phillips, Austin Wallace.
