Bobbie Holmes

Bobbie Jewel Holmes, 57, a resident of Carthage, MS passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her residence. Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Monday from 11:30 am until 3:15 pm with a graveside service and burial following in the Holly Bush Methodist Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS at 4:00 pm. Officiating was Rev. Jerry Holmes. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Holmes had lived in Carthage, MS for the past four years, moving from Pelahatchie, MS and she was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her parents, Anse and Geneva Holmes; two brothers, Roger Dale and Billy Holmes; one sister, Shirley Jean Reid.
Mrs. Holmes is survived by two daughters, Tammy Peavy and Victoria Sebren both of Carthage, MS; one son, Michael Holmes of Carthage, MS; two brothers, Gary Holmes of Morton, MS; Rodney Holmes of Carthage, MS; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a special uncle, Davis Holmes of Pelahatchie, MS; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers were Joe Johnson, Tyler Parkman, Christopher “Bubba” Peavy, Dusty Griffin, Casey Reid, Jerry Reid, Nicky Holmes, and John McCurdy, Jr.
