Elouise Holmes

Mrs. Elouise Curtis Holmes age 87 a resident of Morton, MS., passed away on Friday November 21, 2014 at the Lackey Convalescent Home in Forest, MS. Visitation was held on Sunday November 23, 2014 from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Monday November 24, 2014 from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Burial followed in the Holly Bush Methodist Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. Officiating was Rev. Gary Glazier and Rev. Guy Hughes. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Holmes was a lifelong resident of Scott, Smith and Rankin counties. She was a member of the Morton United Methodist Church in Morton, MS. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Morton, MS. The family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Lee and staff of Lackey Convalescent Home, for the loving care they provided for Mrs. Holmes over the last 4 years.
Mrs. Holmes is preceded in death by her parents, John & Frances Curtis; one brother; ten sisters. She is survived by her husband, Davis Holmes of Morton, MS.; two daughters, Linda Bond of Morton, MS., LaWanda Stevenson and husband Charles of Morton, MS.; three grandchildren, Connie Bond, Laurie Weathersby and husband Randy, Shae Cannada and husband Micah; one step grandson, Jake Stevenson and wife Lindsey; four great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Stanley Holmes, Daniel Holmes, Jiles Holmes, Jake Stevenson, Randy Weathersby and Micah Cannada.
