Ozell Horsley, 82 a resident of Homewood, MS passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Her Residence. Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Friday, November 01, 2013 from 10:00 until 10:45 am. Funeral services were held in the chapel on Friday, November 01, 2013 at 11:00 am with burial following in Jones & Horsley Family Cemetery, Pulaski, MS. Officiating was Rev. Tam Maddox and Rev. H.C. Bailey.
Mrs. Horsley was a lifelong resident of Homewood, Ms. She was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church and loved gardening and her flowers. She retired from Raleigh Corporation as a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Horsley in 2010. She is survived by one son, Larry (Gloria) Horsley of Vicksburg, MS, one daughter, Nancy (Mike) Jones of Homewood, MS,; three sisters, Allie Mae Reves of Terry, MS, Christine Windham of Pearl, MS and Beatrice McMillan of Oxford, MS; four grandchildren; Danny ( Georgia) Copeland, Mitchell (Dee) Horsley, Michael Horsley and Debbie (Jimmy) Collier; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Tony Maner, Jordan Maner, Clyde Reves, Jr., Danny Copeland, Mitchell Horsley and Michael Horsley.
