Wanda Howell

Mrs. Wanda Sawyer Howell, age 72, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Adams County Nursing Center in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will take place at 11:00 AM in our Funeral Home Chapel. A private graveside will follow at Faulkner Cemetery in Forest, MS. Bro. David Williams will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Mrs. Howell was born to James Chester Sawyer and Cleo Risher on October 28, 1949, in Morton, MS. She moved from Pearl, MS to Natchez, MS a little over a year ago. She loved painting, going to church, singings and being with her family.
Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by parents, James Chester Sawyer and Cleo Risher Sawyer; sisters, Molly Walker, Gloria Schlecht and Frenda Jean Hood. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Daniel Howell, Jr. (Angel) of Yazoo, MS.; daughter, Amanda Howell (David Nations) of Natchez, MS.; brother, Chester Sawyer (Shirley) of Forest, MS.; two sisters; Betty Jane Sirois (Ralph) of San Antonio, TX., and Nancy Ann Milner of Ridgeland, MS.; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
