Margret Jenkins

Margret Klara Jenkins, age 86, departed this life Thursday, September 1, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Margret was born and raised in Schwabisch Gmund, Germany, until she met her husband, Martis and moved to the United States at the age of eighteen years old. She and her husband, Martis, made their home in Morton, where she has lived for Fifty-five years and raised six children.
She worked at Talon and Peavey for many years where she met and made longtime friends in this community. She was loved by many and was known best by her love of flowers and her beautiful yard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Klara Schneider, her husband, Martis Jenkins, a grandson, Michael Jenkins, two brothers, Rudolph Schneider and Helmet Schneider (twin brother), and two sisters, Elizbeth Bogle and Ursula Jakumis.
She is survived by three sons, Bobby (Freda) Jenkins, Duran (Stella) Jenkins, Norman Jenkins, and three daughters, Rose Jenkins, Donna (Glen) Crotwell and Nita (Mike) Harrell, one sister, Marianne Stutz, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, Mississippi, on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 10:50 AM with the Celebration of Life being held at Wolf Funeral Services at 11:00 AM.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Crotwell, Todd Williams, Derrick Sanders, Tommy Aitken, Brandon White, Tyler Harrell, Brice Harrell and Blake Pickering. Honorary pallbearer is Chris Wilson.
Bro. Andy Boles will officiate the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center of Hope, 520 Airport Road, Forest, Mississippi or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
