John De La Cruz, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. His visitation will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 12:30 PM until 3:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. His services will take place in our Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM. Father Aldolfo Suarez is officiating the Mass under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

John was born to Candelario De La Cruz and Elisa Vasquez on September 27, 1956, in St. Paul MN. He had lived in Forest, MS for the past seven years. John was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Madelia, MN. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. John loved spending time with his family. He also loved working on his truck and helping anyone in need. John had retired from Koch Foods as an HR Supervisor. 

John was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Aguilera. He is survived by his wife, Ma Del Carmen De La Cruz of Forest, MS; his daughter, Johanna De La Cruz of Forest, MS; his two sons, Ruben Treviño Perales of Mexico and John Isai (Briselda) De La Cruz of Forest, MS; his four sisters, Rebecca Rojas of Minnesota, Esther Hernandez of Minnesota, Ernestina Marin of Minnesota and Christina Lira of Iowa; his brother, Eligio De La Cruz of Minnesota and a number of nieces and nephews.
