Frances Jones

Mrs. Frances Craven Jones, age 85 a resident of Lawrence, MS. passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at Bedford Care Center of Marion in Marion, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday January 17, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jones had lived in the Pine Ridge Community since 1958. She was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the church choir at Pine Ridge Baptist Church. She loved to work in her yard and enjoyed her flowers.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon Jones, one infant daughter and one brother, Albert L. Craven. She is survived by two sons, Van Jones and wife Rita of Forest, MS.; and Wayne Jones and wife Barbara of Oklahoma City, OK.; one daughter, Janie Riser of Lawrence, MS.; one brother, Teddy Craven of West Point, MS.; one sister, Bessie Burch of Lawrence, MS.; nine grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Randy Jones, Ben Jones, Donnie Powell, Jeremy Jones, Ross Lard, and Blake Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Freddie Herrera, Garet Jones, Allan Atkison, Scott Coleman and Jeff Pitts.
