Lee O Jones

Mr. Lee O. Jones, 77, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at Mississippi Care Center in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 1:25 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton. Graveside Services will take place at Cooperville Baptist Cemetery in Morton at 2:00 PM that same day. Rev. Ray Ingram and Rev. Scotty Cooper will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Mr. Jones was born to Fannie L. McWilliams and Obie S. Jones on September 10, 1944, in Magee, MS. He lived in Scott County, MS since 1963. Mr. Jones worked as a mechanic and poultry farmer for Koch Foods for 50 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents, Fannie and Obie Jones; sisters, Rachel Chain, Faynell Craven, Sarah Runnels, Lilly Ree and Dorothy Brown; brothers, Otha R., Billy W., Oler J. and David H. Jones; great grandchildren, Emily Yarrington and Waylon Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Linda Page Jones; son, Daniel L. Jones (Jodi); daughter, Martha Traxler (Wayne); granddaughters, Lee Ann Johnson (James) and Shannon Jones (Ryan); great grandchildren, Ryan and Cody Yarrington and Kolton Johnson; and best friend, Roger Dale Guy.
