Robert Kelly

Mr. Robert H. Kelly age 61 a resident of Lake, MS passed away on January 19, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday January 22, 2015 from 12:30 PM until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday January 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Lawrence Cemetery in Lawrence, MS. Officiating will be Rev. John Cash and Robert Logan will deliver the eulogy. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Kelly had been a resident of Lake, MS for the past 37 years, formerly living in Newton, MS. He was a member of the Lake United Methodist Church in Lake, MS. He graduated high school from the Scott County Christian Academy and entered Clark College and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He then began his career as a school teacher, teaching math at Scott County Christian Academy, Lake Middle School, Forest Middle School, Hickory High School and Newton High School. Mr. Kelly was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and go to his shooting club.
Mr. Kelly is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gloria Kelly; one sister, Ann Shipman; two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Betty Logan Kelly of Lake, MS.; one daughter, Rebecca Scribner and husband Sean of Elizabeth City, NC.; one son, Steven Kelly and wife Kim of Brandon, MS.; one sister, Dorothy Alexander of Little Rock, MS.; two brothers, David Bryant of Madison, MS., Bennie Johnson of Georgia; four grandchildren, Savannah Scribner, Nathan Scribner, Will Scribner, Karagan Kelly.
Pallbearers are Glenn Logan, Robert Logan, Zack Logan, Ben Alexander, Paul Tadlock, Roger Morgan.
