Faye Koebrugge, 71, a resident of Lena passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 in Lena. Visitation was Monday, December 27, 2010 at Wolf Funeral Services from 4:30 until 7:00 pm and again Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm and services were at 1:00 pm in the chapel with burial following in the Eureka Baptist Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Rick Hammerstrom. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Faye had lived in the Eureka Community in Rankin County for the past 10 years, moving from Mexico Beach, FL and she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Port St. Joe, FL. She was an avid outdoorsman who loved deep sea fishing, going to the beach, cooking and reading. She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Mexico Beach. FL. Since returning to MS she had attended the Eureka Baptist Church. She was a 1956 graduate of Pisgah High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Nonie Harrell; one brother, Lloyd A. Harrell; and companion, Tom Stallings in 2002.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Austin Hogg, Brazilia, Brazil; one sister, Peggy Hawkins, Lena; two brothers, Dudley Harrell, Lena; and Bobby Harrell, Lorman; one grandchild, Patrick Austin Hogg, Brazilia, Brazil.
Pallbearers were Mike Bilbro, Rusty Cross, Jerry Cross, Pete Alman, Rick Bennett, Andy Stewart, Brian Harrell and Cecil Rhinewalt. Honorary pallbearers were Jamie Gilbert, Mack Henry Gilbert, Lee Stuart, Gary “Cotton” Welch, Mickey Brown, Gerald Brown, Tim Gilbert and Phillip Webb
