Mr. Billy Lack age 88, a resident of Brandon, MS. passed away April 28, 2014 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 30, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday May 1, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will held on Thursday May 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Morton Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Duncan and Rev. Steve Jackson. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Lack had been a resident of Brandon, MS. for the past two years, formerly living in Canton, GA. for ten years and Pearl, MS. He was a member of McLaurin Heights Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. where he served as a lifetime Deacon. He was ordained as a Deacon at East Morton Baptist Church in 1979. He loved gardening and spending time with his family. He retired as a production supervisor with Van Leer Containers after over forty years of service.
Mr. Lack is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Earle Lack. He is survived by two daughters, Carla Bilbrey and husband Billy of Thomasville, AL.; Joyce Stegall of Brandon, MS.; one son, Jimmy Lack and wife Beverly of Canton, GA.; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Kevin Bilbrey, Lee Stegall, Billy Stegall, Brian McKinnon, Nic Bilbrey, Bill Hodges.
