Mrs. Launa Kyzar
Mrs. Launa Kyzar, 86, a resident of Carthage, MS passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Carthage, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 10:30 am until 1:50 pm, and funeral services will be at Ephesus Baptist Church at 3:00 pm with burial following in the Ephesus Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Dr. Jim Everett and Rev. Larry Duncan. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Launa was a lifelong resident of Scott County and was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest, MS. She loved the outdoors and gardening and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gaddis Kyzar, Sr.; two sons, Merle Kyzar and Gaddis Kyzar, Jr.; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Estelle Crimm and husband Graden of Forest, MS; Jean King and husband Steve of Sebastopol, MS; one sister, Ruby Fleming of Ludlow, MS; eighteen grandchildren; forty four great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Joey Emmons, Larry Crimm, LeReece Crimm, Michael Kyzar, Brock Smith, and Tom Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve King and Graden Crimm.
Memorials may be made to Ephesus Baptist Cemetery Fund or the Building Fund.
