John Lingle

John B, “J.B.” Lingle, age 78, passed away on Thursday March 24, 2016 in Morton, MS. Visitation was held on Friday March 25, 2016 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services were held on Saturday March 26, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. Burial followed in the Independence Methodist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating was Bro. Don Wilson and Bro. Tim Robertson. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
J.B. was a lifelong resident of the Springfield Community and was a member of the Independence Methodist Church in Morton, MS. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved to work in his garden. He also loved helping people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Holton and Odessa Lingle. He is survived his wife, Mary A. Lingle of Morton, MS; four sisters, Winnie Faye Thompson of Morton, MS, Rose Yarbrough of Morton, MS, Martha Adcock of Morton, MS, Dartha Adcock of Morton, MS; three brothers, Lester Yarbrough of Morton, MS, Bartley Adcock of Morton, MS, Norman Adcock of Morton, MS; special cousin, Florence Measells of Morton, MS; and a host of relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Don Cornelison, Taylor Cornelison, Marc Measells, Will Adcock, Joseph Adcock, and Billy Williams.
