Lisa Ann McGehee

Mrs. Lisa Ann McGehee, age 59, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Laird’s Hospital in Union, MS.   A Memorial Services will be held at a later date. 

Lisa was born on July 23, 1964, to Oliver McCrory and Sarah Kelley in Scott County, MS.   She was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS.  Lisa was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Morton.  Lisa was a 1982 graduate of Morton High School where she was a High School Cheerleader.  After high school she graduated from ECCC with a cosmetology degree and furthered her education at Hinds Community College.  She loved crafts, roller skating, baking for her family and her three sons and her grandchildren were the live of her life. 

Lisa was preceded in death by her son, Hutch McGehee; father, Oliver McCrory; grandparents, Hutch and Belle McCrory and Walter and Exie Kelley.   She survived by her mother, Sarah Townsend of Morton MS; her two son, Sethe Clay of Terry, MS and Harlen McGehee of Madison, MS; her three sisters, Becky Frith (Bobby) of Morton, MS, Jeannie McNamee (Bruce) of Jacksonville, FL and Cindy Jones (Scott) of Morton, MS; her two step-sisters, Kim Crapps and Connie Ward; her three grandchildren, McKenzie, Carleigh and Kindall Clay; her aunts, June Kelly and Ida Walker; her Uncle Larry Kelley and her loving nieces and nephews.
