Rev. Ray Lott
Rev. Ray Lott, 74, a resident of Raleigh, MS passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 9:00 until 10:50 am. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 am in the chapel with burial following in the Goodwater Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Danny Dickerson, Rev. David Hayes and Eulogy will be by Fonda Donaldson. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Lott was a retired pastor and owned A&M Pest Control, Inc. He had lived in Raleigh, MS for the past twelve years moving from Tampa, FL and was a member of Burns Baptist Church. Rev. Lott was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and he enjoyed bowling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herston Lott and Gladys Huff Vaughn; grandparents, Percy and Lilly Huff; Rwell and Minnie Lott; and one uncle, Otis Huff.
He is survived by one son, Al Lott and wife Teresa of Raleigh, MS; granddaughters, Faye Lott and Leigh Mangum; one brother, Irvin Lott and wife Annette of Trenton, MS; two nieces; six nephews, 6 great nieces; one great-great nephew; aunt, Vida Pugh; and special friend, Fonda Donaldson.
Pallbearers will be Stevie Pugh, Richie Lott, Stan Sullivan, Randy Sullivan, Steve Dukes and Clayborn Huff. Honorary pallbearers will be Morgan “Spider” Dukes, Hank Pugh, Kyle Pugh and Wayne Bryant.
