Mr. MC Lum age 93, passed away Saturday May 4, 2019 at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton, MS.
Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Friday May 10, 2019 from 12:30PM until 1:50PM. Funeral Services followed at 2:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel with Burial at Branch Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Brother Paul Smith officiated the service.
M.C. Lum was born April 11, 1926 to Marshall and Myrtle Lum in Scott County, MS. Mr. Lum was a WWII Veteran. He enlisted in the Navy at 18 years old and served his country honorably for two years, being awarded the Victory Ribbon, American Area Ribbon and the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon.
Mr. Lum was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jean Hunter Lum and his Brother Dorwain Lum. He is survived by his sister; Faye Clinton of Pearl, MS, Mitsy “Mittie” Beavers of Forkville, MS, Delia Woamer (Jerry) of Lake Tahoe, CA, Anita Suarez ( Murry) of Kalispell MT; Brother, Marshall Lum Jr. (Debbie) of Mountain View, AR; nephew, Charles Calvin Beavers; niece, Darlene Alford Presley and 7 nieces and nephews.
