Mr. Dwayne Lyle, 80, a resident of Morton, MS passed away on Sunday, August 05, 2012 at his residence. Visitation will be at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Monday, August 06, 2012 from 5:30 until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 07, 2012 from 8:00 am until 1:45 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 07, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel with burial following in the Morton Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn Smith and Rev. T.J. Porter. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lyle had lived in Morton, MS for the past 58 years moving from Pea Ridge Community in Scott County and he was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He retired in 1993 as an insurance agent with Ott & Lee Funeral Home after twenty five years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Janice “Sissy” Lyle of Morton, MS; one son, Terry Lyle and wife Beverly of Morton, MS; one daughter, Beverly Ann Dozier and husband Oscar of Forest, MS; one brother, Davis Lyle of Pea Ridge, MS; two sisters, Addie Zell Lyle of Pea Ridge, MS; Maggie Lee Eure of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Terran King and Shelly Ogletree; three great-grandchildren, Jacob King, Blake King, and Madeline Ogletree; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Oscar Dozier, Adam King, Terry Aycock, and Timmy Aycock.
