On Wednesday June 28, 2023, a page turned, and a chapter closed in the Life of Marion Zeophia King aka (Big Red). Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Union Grove M. B. Church in Forest, MS. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Morton, MS. Pastor Rochelle Wright will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Red was born on August 13, 1967, to the late J T King and Ruby Pearl Jackson. She is the middle child of 10 siblings. She is proceeded in death by her grandparents and four siblings. Zeophia Martin and Mary King, Pat King, Debra Jackson, Norris Smother, Mimi Nicks and one special friend Nicole White (aka Little Red).
Red graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, Ok. She later received Her CNA license from Mississippi Care Center. Red later was employed by the Nissen Corporation in Canton, Ms. Where she retired after 20+ years as a Line Engineer. After Retirement Red was employed by Forest High School as a cafeteria worker and was soon promoted to supervisor where she continued to work until she was called home. Red was a very loveable, outspoken person that said exactly what was on her mine. She had a strong, lasting bond with her sisters, brothers and children, family meant the world to her. She loves to have fun and socialize with family and friends.
Red leaves to cherish her perish memories, three daughters Corie King aka Pebble (Rondarius) of Jacksonville, FL., Shavonda King of Jacksonville Fl. and Andrea Eastwood (Joshua) of St. Louis, MO.; three sisters Bridgett Lofton of Union Ms., Pam Roy (Tyrone) of Jacksonville, Fl., Kenwanna Washington (Marcus) of Dothan Al.; three brothers Tyrone Agee (Ilene) of Morton Ms., Mario Washington (Laquita) of Dallas Tx., Kent Washington of Morton Ms. and her loving Grandkids, Jhonnetta Brown, Kiaura Eastwood, Koby Canady, Ja’Khya Canady, Mya Eastwood, Jousha Eastwood jr., Kingstyn King, Baby Raven and Uncle Ronnie Mccoy of Morton Ms. and host of Nieces and Nephews. Also, to cherish her memory is three sisters(friends), Rose Griffin of St. Louis Mo., Kay Holland of Morton Ms., Jackie Agee of Morton Ms. and one son Mario Holland of Lewisville Tx., and one special daughter Quenisha White (aka Coosie).
