Luther Manuel Marodis
Luther Manuel Marodis, 75, a resident of Carthage, MS passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his residence. A memorial services was held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm at McDonald Union Church in Leake County. Officiating was Rev. Keith Mangrum. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Marodis had lived in Lena, MS for past 17 years, moving from Brandon, MS and he was a member of McDonald Union Church in Lena, MS. He loved to ride motorcycles. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Marodis; his mother, Caudelle Craig; one daughter, Melinda Marodis.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Anderson of Brandon, MS; step-mother, Catina Marodis of Jackson, MS; five daughters, Darlene Holliman and husband David of Brandon, MS; Karon Netherland of Brandon, MS; Melissa Marodis Henderson and husband John of Waynesboro, MS; Toni Bynum of Pelahatchie, MS; Michele Marodis of Carthage, MS; one brother, George Marodis and wife Allisa of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Paula Marodis Fowler of Jackson, MS; Beth Marodis Miller and husband Randy of Brandon, MS; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
