Jimmie Ann Lewis Mashburn, 73, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 9:00 until 9:50 am at Pelahatchie Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Pelahatchie Baptist Church at 10:00 am with burial following in the Independence Methodist Cemetery, Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Barry Corbett and Rev. Guy Hughes. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton is in charge of arrangements.
Jimmie Ann had lived in Pelahatchie, MS since 1959, moving from Morton, MS and she was a member of Pelahatchie Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #222 in Pelahatchie, MS and served as Organist at Pelahatchie Baptist Church for 35 years and former Sunday School and Training Union Teacher also at Pelahatchie Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Lee and Ollie Lewis; one sister, Laverne Renfrow; one nephew, Gilbert Renfrow; and one niece, Deborah Renfrow.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Clark Mashburn of Pelahatchie, MS; Lewis Clark Mashburn and wife Bernardine of Magee, MS; Shelia Mashburn Miller and husband Kenny of Pelahatchie, MS; Neal Mashburn and wife Scottii of Pelahatchie, MS; one brother, Billy Lewis and wife Betty of Morton, MS; Rachel Tadlock and husband Leon of Pelahatchie, MS; one sister-in-law, Rita Mashburn of Pelahatchie, MS, five grandchildren, Laine Mashburn Stubbs and husband Eric, Lee Mashburn, Ashley and Bailey Miller, and Noah Mashburn; two step-grandchildren, Kay Sills and husband Mitch, and Mark Miller and wife Kristen; two step great-grandchildren, Landon and Mikayla Sills; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Lee Mashburn, Noah Mashburn, Eric Stubbs, Kenny Miller, Lynn Gunn, and Keith Varner. Honorary pallbearers are Andy Johns, Gary Carpenter, Johnny Carter, John Randall Myers, J.W. Barnes, Robert Gates, James Harrell, Bobby Warren, J.W. Rhodes, Doug McFadden, Ed McAlister, and the Men’s IV Sunday School Class.
