Tommy Dean Mason, Sr., 47, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital, Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and again on Friday, June 01, 2012 from 8:00 am until 12:45 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 01, 2012 in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Eastside Baptist Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. Officiating will be Brother Tommy Boyd of Jayess, MS and Brother Hank Blades of Humble,TX. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Tommy had lived in Pelahatchie, MS since 2003, moving from Georgia and he attended Gospel Chapel in Pearl, MS. He loved to draw, hunt, fish and watch NASCAR. He loved to collect antiques, go to yard sales and flea markets. Tommy was a people person and an animal lover.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Mason of Pelahatchie, MS; parents, Harold Dean and Minnie Pearl Mason of Pelahatchie, MS; one daughter, Crystal Mercedes Mason of Pelahatchie, MS; one son, Tommy Dean Mason, Jr. of Pelahatchie, MS; adopted son, Steven Ryan Parrish of Pelahatchie, MS; one sister, Tammy Marie Mason of Pelahatchie, MS; one nephew, Mark Caleb Williams of Pelahatchie, MS; one grandchild, William Dean Mason of Pelahatchie, MS; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mike Sessions, Steven Sessions, Tommy Harrell, Daniel Hester, Mason Hester, and Bobby House.
