Donald H Maxey

Donald H. Maxey, 78, born on March 19, 1943, to John Alton Maxey and Aleen Sistrunk, passed away on August 22, 2021 at his residence in Lake, MS. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 11:50 AM with services to follow at 12:00 PM, all at Salem Baptist Church, Lake, MS with Bro Larry Duncan officiating under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Donald lived in Lake, MS for the past 75 years. He was Baptist by faith and was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lake, MS. He had retired from Tyson Foods after working there for many years.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, John and Aleen Maxey; grandmother, Dolly Sistrunk and brother, Harold Maxey. He is survived by two sisters, Eva Mae Talbert of Lake, MS, Brenda Johnson of Lake, MS; one brother Jimmy Maxey of Lake, MS; numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Belk, Michael Johnson, John Talbert, Tanner Smith, Tobey Smith, Grant Stroud, and Marty Primm.
