Jose was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS and was Catholic by faith. He was a welder and worked for Koch foods. Jose also loved to draw and watch football and excelled in all sports during school.
Jose is survived by his parents Lynn Patricia Evans and Ascencion Meza of Morton, MS and Helen Meza of Shreveport, LA; twin brother Ascencion Meza Brandon, MS, brothers Sterling Giddens and Michael Atkins of Shreveport, LA; sister Erica Meza of Morton, MS; maternal grandfather Jerry Evans of Greenville, MS.
