Ruby Wilson Monk
Ruby Wilson Monk, 83, a resident of Lake, MS passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 1:30 until 2:50 pm and funeral services will be at 3:00 pm in the chapel with burial following in the Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Mixon. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ruby had lived in Lake, MS since 1985, moving from Cary, NC and she was a member of Halifax Community Baptist Church in Halifax, VA. She loved to crochet afghans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bonnie Wilson; four brothers, Lester “Slim” Wilson, Oakley Wilson, Woodrow Wilson and Claude Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil E. Monk of Lake, MS; many nieces and nephews and four sisters-in-laws.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Monk, Regan Monk, Ryan Monk, Joel Monk, Hartford Adams and Danny Edmonds.
