Robert Moore, Jr, age 72, a resident of Lena, MS passed away on Monday September 28, 2015 at Regency Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Thursday October 1, 2015 from 9:30 AM until 10:20 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 1, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Allen Chapel Church Cemetery in Lena, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Tagert. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Junior was a native of Scott County and a former resident of Brandon, MS now living in Lena, MS for the past six years. He was Baptist by faith and attended the Allen Chapel Church in Lena, MS. Junior loved riding his Harley and spending time with his family. He was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to hunt and fish.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Carlene Moore. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Moore of Lena, MS; two daughters, Theresa Jimmerson and husband Jerry of Minden, LA, Mandi Prestage and husband Brandon of Lena, MS; one son, Glenn Moore and wife Angie of Eldorado, AR; three sisters, Dorothy Harrison and husband Jimmy of Homewood, MS, Willa Dean Watkins and husband Mott of Lorena, MS, Janette Prestage of Montgomery, AL; four brothers, Bobby Moore and wife Kathy of Sebastopol, MS, Jerry Moore of Homewood, MS, Mark Moore of Homewood, MS, Jimmy Moore and wife Pat of Homewood, MS; six grandchildren, Waylon, Emily, Trenton, Brittany, Grayson, Hadley Kate; four great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Glen Prestage, Chris Prestage, Trenton Moore, Reggie Hillman, Jerry Matthews,Jr., Tommy Pace.
