Mrs. Inez Thornton Munn

Mrs. Inez Thornton Munn passed away at 10:45 AM on Wednesday July 10th 2019 at her home in Hickory, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday July 11th 2019 from 1:00 PM until 1:50PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Services will be held Thursday July 11th 2019 at 2:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Lawrence, MS. Reverend Rusty Walton and Reverend John Vaughn will officiate.

She resided in Lawrence, MS for 70 plus years and in Pelahatchie, MS for 10 years. She was currently a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS.

Mrs. Inez Thornton Munn was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie D. and Annie Jewel Dearing, her late husband Brother Clifton Thornton; her sisters, Rachel Buggs and Patricia Robinson; her grandson, Jim Wolfe. She is survived by her husband, John Munn of Pelahatchie, MS; her siblings, Mavis Bound , Billy Marie Metlizer, Chester Dearing and Larry Dearing; her stepchildren, Rob, Vivian and Carol; her children; Daphne McMillan of Hickory, MS, Cliff Thornton of Decatur, MS, Beverly Thornton of New Iberia, LA, Melanie Wolfe of Newton, MS, Felicia Blackburn of Decatur, MS and Andy Thornton of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Chasity Bounds, Sha Alderman, Neil Thornton, Ryan McMillan, Andy McMillan, Lindsey Carver, LeAnn Cronin, Lee Blackburn, Nick Thornton, and a host of great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Ryan McMillan, Andy McMillan, Neil Thornton, Kelly Alderman, Curt Blackburn and Lee Blackburn. Nick Thornton is an honorary pallbearer.
