James C. Nicholas

James C. Nicholas, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Services will take place at 2:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS. Bro. Mickey Myers and Bro. James McMillan will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Mr. Nicholas was born to Esthus Nicholas and Aline Crimm on December 9, 1941, in Madison County, MS. He had lived in Forest, MS since 1981. Mr. Nicholas served in the Army National guard for 6 years and he was a member of the American Legion and Sons of the Confederacy. Mr. Nicholas loved cutting grass at the Family C RV Park.
He is preceded in death by his parents Esthus and Aline Nicholas; brothers, Wayne Nicholas and Hiram Nicholas. Mr. Nicholas is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gwen Nicholas of Forest, MS; son, Jamie Nicholas (June) of Rockville, MD; daughter, Wendy Nicholas of Flowood, MS; two sisters, Zettie Walters of Forest, MS, and Blondie Harrison of Forest, MS; two grandchildren, William and Andrew.
Pallbearers will be Larry Crimm, Alex Crimm, Jimmy Clark, Jason Kittrell, Joe Clark and Jesse Clark.
