Nolan Jones

Nolan Jones, age 71, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, in Morton, MS. No Services are planned at this time.

Nolan was born to Burly Dewitt Jones and Willie Prestage Jones on August 27, 1952, in Rankin County, MS.  He was a lifelong resident of Scott County, MS. Nolan was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.

Nolan was preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt and Willie Jones; daughter, Diane Jones and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He is survived by three daughters, Becky Speed (Dink) of Forest, MS; April Lang (Marcus) of Forest, MS; Renee Carter (Rusty) of Morton, MS; son, John Jones (Tanya) of Polkville, MS; a host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren, Justin and Austin speed, Tommy, Tyler and Eli Jones, Dalton Shaw and Denver Carter, Rachel and Levi Lang; five great grandchildren, Lilly and Ella Speed, Joyanna Jones, Ethan Jones, Baylor Shaw and two on the way.
