Rue, as he was known to everyone, never met a stranger and loved spending quality time with his friends and family. He was a lifelong resident of the Forkville Community in Scott County. He attended Cowboy Church at Tadlock Stockyards every Sunday. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Rue was a supporter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited. He worked for over 30 years for Tadlock Stockyard and met many friends through his days at the sale barn. He also served the citizens of Scott County as Constable in the late 1990s. Nothing made Rue more proud than being a father to his children, Justin and Holli. He enjoyed supporting and doing life with his children. Rue was a special man who loved people and helping others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rue is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Estelle Nutt; sister, Terry Baker; step-daughter Stefanie Harper; and brother-in-law, Louis Brannon.
