Ruth Louise Ogletree

Ruth Louise Ogletree, age 92, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Wednesday August 31, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS.
Louise was born to Edgar McGee and Laura Elizabeth Brown on April 7, 1930, in Lake, MS. She was a lifelong resident Lake, MS. Louise loved to Garden and cater to the needs of others. She loved her family and they viewed her as their everything. She spent many hours reading her Bible and making sure her family was okay. She would do without for herself in order to make sure others had what they needed. Louise had special ways to bring joy to the lives of others.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Beth McGee; brother, Bud McGee; three sisters, Lavelle Posey, Marie Herrington and Lorene Harmon. She is survived by five daughters, Patricia Harrison of Little Rock, MS, Gloria Wood of Lake, MS, Connie Monk of Lake, MS, Renee May of Conehatta, MS and Lisa Posey of Lake, MS; brother, Danny McGee of Lake, MS; sister, Barbara Harrison of Little Rock, MS; three grandsons, Steve and Jeffery Harrison of Little Rock, MS and Caleb Monk of Lake, MS; three granddaughters, Christy Cooksey of Lake, MS, Ashley Mills of Madden, MS and Amy May of Biloxi, MS; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Harrison, Jeffery Harrison, Michael Johnson, Chris Mills, Randy Harmon and Shannon Harmon. Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Harmon.
