Brenda Faith Dubose Simpson Olson

Mrs. Brenda Faith DuBose Simpson Olson age 72, passed away Tuesday August 13, 2019 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held Friday August 16, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held Friday August 16, 2019 at 11:00AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS with burial following at Sims Hill Cemetery in Morton, MS. Reverend Steve Wilson will officiate.
Mrs. Olson was born in Morton, MS and was a lifelong resident of Rankin and Scott counties. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Mrs. Olson played basketball at Morton High School, and after high school she enjoyed playing tennis. She enjoyed travel, reading, watching children play sports and shopping. She loved her family, especially her grand-babies and her dog, she was a good storyteller and enjoyed making people laugh.
Mrs. Olson is survived by her husband Robert “ Bob” Olson of Brandon, MS; her children, Leah Allen of Lexington, MS, Jay Simpson ( Heather) of Brandon, MS, Erica Schmitt ( David) of Bedford, NH and Ryan Olson ( Mindy) of Hampton, IL; one sister, Karen Fortune ( Richard) of Brandon, MS; aunt, Katie Palmer of Pearl, MS; ten grand-children, Reed, Sawyer and Sonny Simpson, Haden and Luke Allen, Evan, Kamryn and Hudson Schmitt, Katelyn and Kai Olson; two great grandchildren, Jax and Beau Allen.
Pallbearers will be Steve Holley Sr., Steve Holley Jr., Lamar Burkes, Eric Allen, Shannon Davis, and Clay Simpson. Felix Girod is an honorary pallbearer.
