Mary D. O’Steen

Mary D. O’Steen, 83, a resident of Morton, MS passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Brandon Nursing & Rehab in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 9:00 until 9:50 am. Funeral services will be in the chapel on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10:00 am with burial following in Morton Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be J.L. Slay of Brandon, MS. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. O’Steen had lived in Morton, MS since 1972, moving from Dallas, TX and she was a member of Morton United Methodist Church in Morton, MS. She loved to dance and she was a member of the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.K. O’Steen. She is survived by one son, Rene’ O’Steen and wife Tammie of Morton, MS; grandchildren, Tonya Franklin, Brittany O’Steen, Carli Crapps; great-grandchildren, Tori Franklin, Gabbi Franklin, and Gage Crapps.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Tadlock, Freeman Hollingsworth, Boomer Blissett, Ratsy Blissett, Oddie White, and Jimmy Farris.
