Mr. Herman Orentha Pace age 73, a resident of Richland, MS. passed away Monday August 25, 2014 in Rankin County. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 28, 2014, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Burial will follow in the Hazel Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Felton. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Pace was a native of Lake, MS, having lived in Pearl, MS for the past 20 plus years and formerly a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a member of the Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. He was a 1959 graduate of Lake High School and worked for the Noland Company for many years. He later started his own plumbing sales company, which was Pace Cooley Sales in Pearl, MS.
Mr. Pace was preceded in death by his parents, Seth and Carrie Pace, two brothers, Thurman and Roger Pace, one sister, Ann Graham. He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Baggett of Decatur, MS and Deborah Pace of Delray, FL; three sons, Jon Pace of Hickory, MS, Brad Pace of McComb, MS, Danny Pace of Jackson, MS; one brother, James Wallace Pace of Collinsville, MS; and twelve grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Derrick Pace, Scott Pace, Lane Crosby, Mark Crosby, Keith Graham and Stacey Monk.
