Mrs. Ophelia “Opie” Page Wolf Gray age 62 and a resident of Jackson, MS. passed away on March 1, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2014 from 10 AM until 11:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Madison, Rev. Mike Bonner and Anthony Emmons. Burial will be in the Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. will be in charge of the arrangements.
Opie had been a resident of Jackson and Flora, Ms. since 2002 formerly living in Pelahatchie and Forest, MS. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Riverwood Bible Church in Jackson, MS. She was a volunteer at Friends of Alcoholics in Pocahontas, MS. During her many years in Forest Opie worked for a number of years at Dadco Fashions and Ott & Lee Funeral Home.
Opie is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Elna Page, one sister, Ida Aycock and her first husband, Bill Wolf. She is survived by her husband, Greg Gray of Jackson, MS.; one son, Bryan Gray of Nashville, TN.; one daughter, Melinda McWilliams of Waxahatchie, TX.; two sisters, Nell Carr and husband Robert of Forest, MS.; Linda Jones and husband Lee of Pelahatchie, MS.; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Anthony Emmons, Zachary Emmons, Dusty Yarrington, Tim Emmons, Tim Aycock and Terry Aycock. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Wolf, Jacob Emmons, Brady Simpson, Jeffrey McWilliams, Ryan Yarrington, Cody Yarrington, and Daniel Jones.
