Mr. Dazavius J. Palm, age 22, passed away on Saturday December 10, 2016 in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday December 16, 2016 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 17, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Mt. Carmel M.B. Church in Morton, MS with burial following in the Masonic Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Neal Keeton, Rev. Melvin Moore, and Rev. Johnny Qualls. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Palm had lived in Morton, MS since 2010 where he moved from Magee, MS. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel M.B. Church. He graduated from the Youth Challenge Program at Camp Shelby in 2012 and was an employee of Joe McGee Construction in Lake, MS, where he worked as an equipment operator. Other than a love for his family, he loved dogs and horses.
He was preceded in death by his great-great grandparents, George and Mayola Barber; great grandparents, Fletcher Barber, Lear Wilson, Mary Alice Dozier, Percy Nichols, and Sylvestor Palm, Sr. He is survived by his father, Damien Dozier of Morton, MS; his mother, Fleshia Milloy of Magee, MS; Fiancée, Hattie Jennings of Morton, MS; two sons, Ja’Corien Palm of Morton, MS and Colten Jennings of Pelahatchie, MS; one daughter, A’Miracle Jennings of Magee, MS; four sisters, Amber Milloy of Pinola, MS, Jazmine Milloy of Magee, MS, Destiny Milloy of Magee, MS, and Dariya Dozier of Lake, MS; two brothers, John Milloy, Jr. of Magee, MS and La’Damien Dozier Morton, MS; maternal grandparents, Sylvester and Shirley Palm of Morton, MS; paternal grandparents, Helen and Eddie Floyd of Morton, MS; maternal great-grandmother, Arvell Palm of Morton, MS; special cousin, Devieche Spann of Morton, MS; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Milloy, Ashley Smith, Darryl Dozier, Lorenzo Hollis, Dante Floyd, and Justin Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will La Quare Robinson, Devieche Spann, Tyler Palm, Aden Cook, Jarqueres Davis, Antario Williams, Michael Palm, Dion Palm, and Tyler Palm.
