Faye H. Park
Mrs. Faye H. Park, 77, a resident of Forest, MS passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10:00 am at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Forest, MS with burial following in the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS. Officiating will be Father Joe Dyer. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Park had lived in Forest, MS since 1952, moving from the Tucker Community in Neshoba County. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Forest, MS. She was an accomplished artist of cross stitchery. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Mary Martha group at her church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who called her “Mamaw”.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Clinnie Hardy; three siblings: Pete Hardy, Mildred Kilpatrick and Junior Hardy; and her grandson, Matthew Park. She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-seven years, John A. Park, Sr. of Forest, MS; one son, John A. Park, Jr. and wife Debby of Forest, MS; one daughter, Kay Barton and husband Butch of Forest, MS; five grandchildren, Christopher Park, Beth Albritton, Amy Park, Brian L. Barton and Brent A. Barton; six great grandchildren, Cami Albritton, Ashlen Albritton, Addison Park, Jaxon Park, Kaylee Barton and BreeAnna Barton.
