Mrs. Marie June Perkins age 71 a resident of Lake, MS passed away on Friday November 21, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 22, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Sunday November 23, 2014 from 12:30 PM until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will be in the Salem Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Robert Roncali and Bro. B.J. Davidson. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Perkins had lived in Lake, MS for the past ten years, formerly living in Harperville, MS. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Pelahatchie,MS. She loved crotcheting and knitting and loved taking care of people.
Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lillie Stevens. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Earl Perkins of Lake, MS.; one daughter, Diane Harrison of Pulaski, MS.; two sisters, Linda Carter and Beulah Powell of Kingsland, GA.; one brother, Leaster Johnson of Florida; one grandchild, Angela Marie McVay; three great grandchildren, Aimee Marie Swindle, Dustin Tyler McVay and Samantha Summer McVay; four great great grand daughters.
Pallbearers are David Cain, Ronnie Wright, Warren Swindle, Dustin McVay, Herbie Windham and Josh Creekmore.
