Channing Phillipson, 2 months, a resident of Morton, passed away Friday, September, 9, 2011 at his residence. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 1:30 until 5:00 pm and at Branch Baptist Church on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 10 until 10:45 am. Funeral services will be Monday at Branch Baptist Church at 11:00 am with burial in the Branch Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Bobo Phillipson. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of the arrangements.
Channing had lived in Morton all of his life. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandra Gaubert Pilgrim.
He is survived by his parents, Robby and Carlie Phillipson of Morton; one brother, Gavin Phillipson of Morton; maternal grandparent, Dean Baker of Brandon; paternal grandparents, Mary and Michael Lively of Mendenhall; paternal grandparents, Larry and Ginger Phillipson of Noxapater; maternal great-grandmother, Phoebe Baker of Brandon; maternal great-grandfather, Glen Gaubert of Meridian; maternal great-grandmother, Alice Harris of Jackson, paternal great-grandmother, Letha Mae Morehead of Mendenhall; paternal great-grandmother, Eileen Hines of Clinton; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Sam Gully, James Gully, and Justin Laster.
