James Douglas ""Tootie"" Pinter

James “Tootie” Pinter, 25, passed away on Wednesday May 19, 2021 in Scott County, MS. He was born to Robert Carl Pinter and Carol Lynn Reid on May 24, 1995. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 9:00 AM until 10:50 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will be at the Damascus Cemetery in Sebastopol, MS.

James was a lifelong resident of Forest, MS. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, ride horses and chicken fighting.

James is preceded in death by his father Robert Carl Pinter; grandmothers, Martha Reid, Rosie Pinter and a cousin Madison Edwards. He is survived by his mother Carol Lynn Pinter of Forest, MS; two sons Trenton Pinter and Dawson Pinter of Forest, MS; four sisters, Melissa Pinter of Hattiesburg, MS, Amber Graham (Jeremy) of Hattiesburg, MS, Sara Pinter, of Forest, MS and Rachel Tatum, of Union, MS; four brothers Michael Reid (Tiffany) of Forest, MS, Curtis Pinter (Britney) of Philadelphia, MS, John Taylor of Forest, MS and James Counts of Forest, MS; twelve nieces and nephews and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Pinter, Michael Reid, Amber Graham, John D. Taylor, James Counts and Derek Clark.
